Ted's Butcherblock Celebrates Year Ten; XBB Celebrates Latin America

EVENTWIRE — Garage-turned-restaurant Xiao Bao Biscuit explores the flavors of Latin America on Monday, March 23, with a one-time dedicated menu. Chef Alex Yellan of Minero will be on hand to help out. As with most things XBB does, reservations aren't accepted, but try to nab a seat to check out the special offerings. [P&C]

DINNERWIRE — Back when Ted's Butcherblock was a baby, they hosted really cheap beer dinners with Scott Shor (The Beer Exchange and Edmund's Oast). Everyone got pretty tipsy (craft beer was new here) and plenty full. For their tenth anniversary, Ted's is bringing back the beer dinner on Wednesday, March 25, starting at 7:30 p.m. The price of the evening has gone up to $75 per person, but both Ted's and Shor have upped their game since those beginning events and will now offer a five-course supper plus pairings.
