The team at forthcoming King Street restaurant 492 paired with local design guru Gil Shuler for their logo sets and just sent us a peek. The look takes on a vintage vibe with the addition of the 1950s atomic starbursts in the background imagery.

The restaurant from chef Nate Whiting and the Relish Restaurant Group is slated to open this month. Whiting said in previous interviews, 492 will be "fine dining type of quality without the pretentiousness." The logo reflects a bit of that more casual ease.
