It's no surprise that the divey pizza parlor Zappo's is gone. A commercial real estate group listed the 708 King St. property for sale last year, and it was only a matter of time before a new restaurateur snapped it up. With the popularity of Saint Alban, Twenty Six Divine, The Daily, Butcher & Bee, and Leon's Oyster Shop on the same stretch of upper, Upper King, the area is freshly appealing to new establishments.
Eater does not yet know who is leasing the property, but if you have any ideas, you should send in a tip.
