Will a Turkish Restaurant Take Over the Former Firehouse Subs Space?

Fast food chain Firehouse Subs recently shuttered on King Street, and it seems a new eatery is moving in. Affixed to the door at 357 King St. is a permit to install a commercial range hood for a restaurant. With other big name brands, like Panera Bread and Chipotle, moving in on Lower King, we didn't get our hopes up for anything unique or local to move in. However, the latest rumor, according to other merchants in the area, is that a Turkish restaurant may take over the address.

Eater is tracking down the new owner, but if you have any info, you should leave it at the tipline.
