After 11 years, Mount Pleasant cafe MOSAIC shut the doors. However, owner Steven Niketas wanted to assure past patrons that the catering side of the business will continue. The closing of MOSAIC frees up space for a brand new concept — Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar. Fill will be a dueling piano bar (on Fridays and Saturdays) with lunch, brunch, and dinner service.

Local sound engineer Jeff Hodges will lead the revamp of the space to mold it into his idea of Fill. The last dueling piano bar in Charleston was in 2002 with Pluto Rocks, which stood where The Macintosh is today.
