The mysterious eatery CURE unlocked the doors last week, and tipsters report that the restaurant has been packed, but not much else is known about the Maybank Highway newcomer. There's a bare-bones Faceback page with chef Kevin Bruntz announcing, "Yes, we're open ...." Bruntz is listed as a chef at Fratello's Italian Tavern, which is said to be owned by the same proprietor as CURE — Richard Tuorto, who also runs O’Brion’s Pub & Grille.
When Eater called, the host told us that the restaurant is open from 4:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., seven days a week, and that a website is coming soon (though they weren't sure of the URL). He also said lunch and brunch is in the works.
Bruntz posted a photo of CURE's menu, and it is full of classic steakhouse items, like a chopped wedge salad ($12), calamari ($8), shrimp cocktail ($10) yellow fin tuna ($24), and various prime cuts of beef. There's also a "From the Rotisserie" section with prime rib, Cornish hen, and porchetta served with grits. If you squint, you can read the whole menu below:
