Vegan eatery Gnome Cafe unlocked the doors at the super early hour of 6:30 a.m. today. The interiors are bright, cheery, and open. A gnome statue peeks out from the pastry displays on the counter, and there's a grab-and-go fridge full of beverages and vegan specials near the front.
Co-owners Saramel Evans and Sara Grimshaw, along with chef Terese Dessuit, are excited to welcome guests and share their animal-free approach to dining.
Gnome Cafe is located at 109 President St. and is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
