Assuming Facebook is correct, and the staff isn't answering the phone because they are busy, Cortaditos Cuban Cafe should be open right now. The new Latin American-inspired restaurant is located at 616 Meeting St., between Diggity Doughnuts and Local 616.

The menu features different variations on cubanos and empanadas, ropa vieja, and breakfast items. Sides of plantains are promised, as well as tres leches and coconut flan. According to the Cortaditos website, the restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
