BEER HERE — Starting today, Palmetto Brewing Company is pouring a new beer in their 843 series. Colonel Rathbun’s Farmhouse Ale is a saison brewed with 60 pounds of Hachiya persimmons from Brickyard Point Farms in Beaufort. They say to expect “a sweet aroma of pear and spicy pink peppercorn, and a rich malt backbone.” A portion of the proceeds from the pints go to charity. [EaterWire]

DEAL FEED — Fine dining restaurant Circa 1886 is offering a steal on drinks this month. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the bar will offer five wines, five cocktails, and five beers for just $5. Feel fancy on a budget. Go to check out the libations and stay for dinner. [EaterWire]

EVENTWIRE — It's time again for the Limehouse Produce’s 2015 Citrus Celebration. Several restaurants and bars will compete to see who can come up with the best recipe to honor the bright fruits Limehouse carries. Visit establishments like The Macintosh, The Cocktail Club, and Zero George to sample some of the selections. [EaterWire]
