CHSW+FF — The folks at Charleston Wine + Food Festival hosted a mixology competition last night at Republic Reign to determine the official cocktail of the 2015 event. The winner was Jeremiah Schenzel of The Cocktail Club with his "My Two Pearls" libation. Schenzel will feature the cocktail again at the opening night gala of the festival. [EaterWire]

THROWBACK — Chef Jeremiah Bacon and the team at The Macintosh are bringing back some old school items from their first menus. Favorites from four years ago, like the deckle or the stone crab gnudi, will make a reappearance until the end of the month. [HCS]

DINNERWIRE — Hip Asian spot Lee Lee's Hot Kitchen will celebrate their first anniversary and the Chinese New Year with a menu of traditional fare. Co-owner Lily Lei curates Chinese dishes that symbolize health, wealth, and good luck for the next 365 days — much like how Southerners eat Hoppin' John on January 1. Lee Lee's presents the specials on February 19. [EaterWire]
