Former Eli's Table chef Brett McKee has spent the past few years as a sort of freelance culinary mind for hire — he's worked as a personal chef, dinner party liaison, and special events consultant. Last week, he announced his latest venture, a private dining/special event/social club space at 139-B Market St. that will be named McKee's at 139B.

City Paper reported membership to the supper club will be $1000 and includes "two scheduled dinners, two rooftop events, and two brunches" and discounts on space rentals.

The space is slated to open in early February.
