Fancy Snacks Are Back at the McCrady's Bar

Snacks are back at fine dining favorite McCrady's. When the dining room switched to a prix fixe menu only concept, the kitchen did away with the bar nibbles (though, patrons could order a $20 five-item, bite-sized hors d'oeuvre plate). But now, guests are free to saddle up in the lounge for a cocktail and a pre-dinner Instagram-worthy experience, as the dedicated bar menu has returned.

The offerings feature less of the traditional tavern flavors (pork rinds and rillettes) and utilize more sophisticated techniques to reflect the prix fixe menu from chefs Sean Brock and Daniel Heinze. A recent example is a plate of smoked steelhead roe served with fennel, shishito peppers, and marigold.

Eater Bartender of the Year for 2013, Ryan Casey, is also working with the chefs to produce cocktail pairings for the bar bites.
