Leon's Oyster Shop is Expanding Their Space

Behind hip eatery Leon's Oyster Shop sits a ramshackle shack. Typical to abandoned buildings in Charleston, it looks unsafe to enter, but the co-owners of Leon's have dreams to transform the space into a private event space dubbed The Oyster Shed.

Proprietor Brooks Reitz describes the addition as "casual, fun, easy, with a private courtyard and picnic style gatherings for large groups." It doesn't look like much now, but neither did Leon's before co-owners Reitz and Tim Mink fixed it up.
