HAPPY HOUR HERE—French bistro Brasserie Gigi now offers happy hour deals they are dubbing "Afternoon Delight." From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., patrons at the bar can order discounted drinks ($4 beer, $5 cocktails, $6 wine), but more importantly, they can also sample Gigi's version of poutine for $6. While the dish is more closely associated with Canada than France, chef Frank McMahon says it was a natural progression of having frites and "very tasty chicken gravy" in the kitchen. Plates are $12 and include a side. C&B will also pour $5 beers. [Facebook]
