Sliver of a shop Callie's Hot Little Biscuit opened their doors to the public today [sorta]. A quick glance at Facebook and a phone call to the eatery confirms that they are now serving up doughy creations and tomato pie to patrons. [Update: Despite our previous confirmation, it seems they aren't officially open. The store is running on limited hours and quantities of product until the grand opening on July 31. If you see the lights on, however, feel free to stop in.]

Four months ago, owner Carrie Morey got into the space at 476 1/2 King St., and fans of her flaky creations have since counted the days till opening. The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays, they will reopen for late night crowds from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

On July 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Callie's Hot Little Biscuit will host their grand opening. The first 100 patrons can take home a bag of treats, and everyone gets a free sample.
