A tipster tells Eater that chef Bob Waggoner has applied for a liquor license at 164-A Market St., so things seem to be coming along on the site of his latest project in Charleston. Last month, Post and Courier reported the former Charleston Grill chef planned to open a space to host high-end cooking classes for small groups that would imitate "at-home dinner parties."
The space is empty now, but the concept is forecast to open "in a few months."
