Construction is plugging away at the dilapidated building at 492 King St. to make way for the forthcoming restaurant featuring chef Nate Whiting. After fine dining place Tristan shuttered, owner/operator Anita Zucker announced that Whiting would head a new Relish Restaurant Group concept named 492.
While the group hasn't disclosed much about the establishment, Eater did stumble upon what appears to be a logo for the business. Graphic design great Gil Shuler posted a photo of the 492 King business cards on his blog. The whimsical tree branch font makes us think the Whiting/Zucker eatery will be less formal than Tristan. Or maybe they're doing a lot of wood-fire cooking?
