Who's ready to get shucking? The first restaurant from hospitality design firm Neighbourhood, Leon's Oyster Shop, opens this Saturday. Co-owners Tim Mink and Brooks Reitz put a lot of thought into every detail, from the Becca Barnet designed tiles to the centerpieces of Louisiana favorite Crystal and Tabasco hot sauces.

Eater photographer Rémy Thurston got a chance to check out the interior here. He also tells us that the menu will have plenty of salad options to cater to a lunch crowd, in addition to the namesake oysters and fried chicken. Leon's is an all day restaurant and hopes to become a neighborhood favorite.
