Ever since cozy hideout Coco's evacuated their Houston Northcutt shopping center, Mount Pleasant has lacked French flair. It appears that newcomer Annie's Bistro may change that. The European restaurant transplant from Bethesda, MD is setting up shop in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, next to Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

An anonymous tipper told Eater that Bethesda Magazine posted about the move. A quick look at the predecessor's Yelp reviews show mixed results, but ultimately a 4.5 rating. The previous menu ranges from classics like escargot to prosciutto sandwiches to roasted chicken.
