Diggity Doughnuts
Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas.

Home of the $2.99 fried chicken deal Ike and Alice's shuttered in September — Alice Warren went on to open My Three Sons in North Charleston, but many wondered about the new tenant hinted at by City Paper. Today, they revealed that vegan confectionary Diggity Doughnuts will open in the space at 616 Meeting St., Suite D. This is the second food-truck-turned-brick-and-mortar to go into the building. One of Diggity's neighbors is Hello My Name is BBQ, which also started in a mobile kitchen.

Now when you visit 616 Meeting St., you can grab pulled pork sandwich at Hello My Name Is BBQ, wash it down with a beer at Local 616, and end the trip with a Sriracha peanut butter doughnut from Diggity.
