Vegetarian-Friendly Dell'z Deli Shuts Down Cannon Street Location

Healthy food advocate Maudell “Dell” Grayson opened Dell'z Deli in April 2010 at 1A Cannon St. The small space was popular with college students, vegetarians, and anyone looking for a fresh, affordable lunch. Yesterday, City Paper reported that the petite eatery had to lock their doors.

Due to complications with the building, Grayson and her crew are moving Dell'z to a new location. But, don't be too distraught, because Dell'z Uptown is still open at 511 Rutledge Ave. with many of the same menu items as the Cannon Street outfit.
