'Burly' Pork Chops and 'Juicy' Fried Chicken at On Forty-One

With a sparkling review on hand, chef Brannon Florie has another win in his corner with Mount Pleasant's On Forty-One. Charleston Scene critic Hanna Raskin dines through the Southern-flavored menu and finds it's simple comfort food done well.

What diners get at On Forty One is simple, familiar Southern cooking, consistently executed well and offered at prices that seem fairly reasonable when the server's packing up your leftovers.

The pork chops, fried chicken, and fried green tomatoes earn three stars for On Forty-One.
