Palmetto Brewing Company Rebrands With Help of Local Designers and Artists

A new look for the city's oldest brewery.

After over 21 years with the same label, Palmetto Brewing Company gave their six-packs a facelift. Local designer Gil Shuler led the redesign with help from artists David Boatwright, Louis Bruce, and Mickey Williams. Each bottle displays a palmetto tree unique to the brew, and each container is chock full of historic facts, renderings, photos, and ads.

Fans of Palmetto Brewing Company will immediately recognize the brand on shelfs and bars, but perhaps notice a more polished, vintage feel. Instead of looking a bit dusty (21 years will do that to a design), it now looks like a classic.
