Tomorrow, the Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals will decide if you can party on the roof of 565 King St., the future site of French-Mexican spot Generalísimo (previously reported as "Generalissimo"). Co-owners Whitney Sudler-Smith and Bryan Kestner are renovating the former Taylor's Pawn Shop space to create their vision of a "great Mexican restaurant" — with French influences from chef Bob Waggoner.

Generalísimo is currently in the construction phase, and City Paper reports architect Kevan Hoertdoerfer is working on the project.
