Since the announcement of a new restaurant taking over the former Pace Pizza Balls space, there hasn't been a lot of activity at 363 King St. A glimpse into the window reveals a bare bones room with no construction bustle.
At the end of July, owner Kevin Bradley told City Paper his fish and chips eatery Mushy Peas was four or five weeks out from opening. Restaurants tend to experience delays, so it's not unusual, but it is very quiet at the address.
Perhaps the North Charleston fish and chips spot The Codfather will open first for those craving the British dish.
