Here are the chef change-ups you need to know this week:
1. Butcher & Bee's pastry chef Emily Cookson is leaving her position, citing " it is not the job for me." City Paper reports she will stay on through the second week of December. Pastry chef Jeffrey Stoneberger will take Cookson's spot. Stoneberger has experience ranging from a stint at fine dining place McCrady's in 2010 to consulting on restaurants for Top Chef alumnus Bryan Voltaggio.
2. Eater National writes, "The driving force behind Perla and a couple other Little Wisco restaurants is moving to South Carolina." For those who don't closely follow New York restaurants, chef Michael Toscano is highly revered and "consistently turned out excellent food on all fronts." Toscano and his family are headed to Charleston, but not much is known what he will be doing here. Those in the know should leave hints at the tipline.
