In a time when restaurateurs are thinking smaller and more intimate (examples: Artisan Meat Share or Minero), it appears that forthcoming concept from chef Nate Whiting, 492, is going big. Construction crews have built out the back of the structure at the corner of King and Mary streets, and the address has doubled in size.

Whiting predicted a fall opening for the "contemporary American" eatery, but, from the outside, it looks like the building has a way to go before welcoming guests. They do have windows in place however.
