Brave the Ice and Go Out (Stay Safe, Though)

Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

Meteorologist Jim Cantore is in town, which can only mean Charleston is about to be buried in ice and pummeled by an abominable snowman. Let's just say, Cantore only likes to go where the disasters strike. That shouldn't stop anyone from dining out tonight, though—assuming he's wrong.

Be aware of who might be closed, because a few have already been announced. Eater will attempt to keep up with restaurants shutting down for the evening, and if you have updates, please email us with information. The best advice would be to call your eatery of choice in advance of an icy visit.
