No More Mason Jar Margaritas on Wentworth

Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

First it was Andolini's Pizza, and now, the second pillar of Wentworth Street casual dining will fall—Mexican grill Yo Burrito is closing this month. Yes, the purveyor of strong tequila drinks served in Mason jars and vegan-friendly tacos will be no more.

An anonymous tipper told Eater the heart-breaking news and it was confirmed by several employees that next Friday, January 31, will be their last day in business. No word what might be going into the space.

Yo Bo Cantina Fresca, in West Ashley, will still be around, but it doesn't exactly have the same feel as the bustling downtown location. Patrons have nine days to take advantage of the free salsa bar and cheap tacos. Tip the waitstaff well, and bid adiós to the $1.50 PBRs and half-priced taco nights.
