"They've taken the now-familiar eat-local, farm-to-table, snout-to-trotter philosophy and applied it to traditional taqueria fare," states Robert Moss of brand new taco spot Básico in his City Paper review. He enjoys everything he samples and even compliments the basket of chips and salsa—"surprisingly rich corn flavor." The barren landscape of the neighboring Mixson development jars him, but he doesn't mind waiting for the houses to fill in while he sips a margarita in the hip restaurant. [CP]
