The Green Goat, a restaurant specializing in farm-to-table Southern fare is West Ashley's newest addition to the culinary scene. Kelly Ruff and Jason Lewis opened the eatery in the old George's Sports Bar space. The menu includes Southern classics like Lowcountry shrimp n' grits and fried chicken, as well as nontraditional sides like goat cheese mashed potatoes. Ruff and Lewis work with Ken Melton at Lowland Farms on Johns Island and Limehouse Produce Company to deliver the freshest ingredients to their customers.
