On Friday, various media outlets reported the popular Folly Beach spot Rita's Seaside Grille was purchased by Hall Hospitality Group LLC, the owners of downtown's night-out destination Halls Chophouse. Apparently, it's not a done deal. A premature press release informed everyone of the acquisition before the parties reached a closing date. More as it becomes known, but for now, anyone with info should send it straight to the tipline. [CCP]
