New York City Pizza Arriving on East Bay 'Very Very Soon'

It appears that Slightly North of Broad and Social Restaurant and Wine Bar will soon have a new neighbor. Signs for New York City Pizza were posted on the doors of 190 East Bay St. last week. A Craigslist post calling for staff announced that they would be opening "VERY VERY SOON." The pizzeria will be one of many joining the Lowcountry this year (others on the list include downtown's DeSano Pizza Bakery and James Island's Crust). While the menu looks fairly standard, they were voted "Best Pizza in Bluffton," according to their website. There's sure to be a debate among connoisseurs over the authenticity of their New York-style slices.
