End of an Era: Johnny's Olde Village Grill to Close

North Charleston burger institution Johnny's Olde Village Grill is set to close on Friday, the Post and Courier reports. After three decades in business, their final day of service might be an abbreviated one, so arrive early for one final Johnny Melt and fries:

"The restaurant normally closes at 3 p.m., but because it hasn't restocked a lot of items ahead of the closing, it could go dark earlier, Sue Thigpen said."
