Zero Cafe + Bar; Brock & Co. at Boone Hall

DOWNTOWN New-ish Ansonborough hotel Zero George is expanding its dining options to more than just its overnight guests. From the press release: "Opening for evenings to the public in summer 2013, the Zero Cafe? + Bar will be a bistro-style eatery offering small production wines and local + seasonal light bites prepared by Zero Chef Randy Williams." MOUNT PLEASANT On June 13 at 6:30 p.m., Husk/McCrady's chef Sean Brock and chef Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, the team from Eleven Madison Park and The Nomad in New York, are hosting an event at Boone Hall. It's to celebrate Humm and Guidara's book I Heart New York: Ingredients and Recipes, and Rodney Scott of Scott's BBQ in Hemingway, SC will also be cooking. Tickets are $95 and details are here.
