CHEF SHUFFLES Básico, the taqueria that's coming to North Charleston's Mixson neighborhood, announced its co-executive chefs. According to a press release, Leila Schardt and Italo Marino will head up the kitchen. They met at the Culinary Institute of America, and later "Schardt began at Peninsula Grill and then joined Monza and Closed for Business as chef de cuisine where Marino was working as sous chef."
