Less than a year after being dubbed best ribs in the nation by Esquire readers, the bones at Fiery Ron's Home Team BBQ were named best in the South by Southern Living readers. Of owner Aaron Siegel, the SL editors there write, "But when it comes to ribs, he's a purist: red oak, a simple dry rub, no basting, no sauce. Simply put, it works." [SL]
