Kitchen 208 Makes Progress on Patio, Chicken and Waffles

The team behind Kitchen 208, the soon-to-be breakfast and lunch place from Charming Inns, has been tweeting pictures of construction on their King Street property. But the patio isn't the only thing they're hammering out.

Chef Marc Collins of Circa 1886 is reportedly helping Kitchen 208's chef Matt Pleasants with the menu, and he's been tweeting some preview pictures. Notably, this one, which looks like a fried chicken sandwich, complete with waffle bread. The Kitchen 208 twitter profile still says "making a spring 2013 debut," so perhaps it won't be too much longer until they're serving Southern lunches with a glass of tea outdoors.
