Torch: Reopening with 'Rock Star Level' Entertainment

Downtown club and hookah lounge Torch is temporarily shuttered, as they get a facelift. But don't freak out yet, the reopening is tentatively scheduled for early April, according to an update on Facebook.

Back in February, City Paper reported Torch changed owners and that City Bar's Mark Fischer would be operating the bar. Now, a sign on the window promises "When complete...prepare to be Entertained on a Rock Star level Like you read about..." They also noted their Halloween Lingerie Ball will be happening, despite all the changes.
