Osteria La Bottiglia, that adorable Italian restaurant on King Street, is now Massi's Wine Bar and Osteria. It's still owned by restauranteurs Massimiliano and Natasha Sarrocchi, but former Trattoria Lucca chef de cuisine Michael Perez will now be crafting pasta and heading up the kitchen.
The menu will be changing regularly, and Natasha said in addition to fresh pasta, the focus will be on smaller plates, to make it "less of a commitment" for diners. Keeping with the wine bar theme, an in-house wine consultant is coming on board and they'll be increasing the number of selections available by the glass. Massi's will be adding one more Charleston chef to the mix, so expect an announcement over the next couple of weeks.
