Inside The Lee Bros. Charleston Cookbook

There's a preview of Matt and Ted Lee's new cookbook, The Lee Bros. Charleston Kitchen, over on Eater National, and it includes lots of pictures. The photography is gorgeous, and the ingredients are Lowcountry favorites, like okra, loquats, oysters and shrimp. Lots of locals influenced the book, and the Brothers mention on their site, "We interviewed home cooks, chefs, farmers, fishermen, caterers, and funeral directors to get the most accurate—and at the same time very intimate—perspective on Charleston foodways."

The Holy City herself gets a star turn as there are driving and walking tours included in the book. Tour dates for The Lee Bros. Charleston Kitchen are over here, and there are plenty of events in the area. Until the book comes out on February 25, Lee Brothers geeks can feast on their Google map of ingredients around downtown.
