If Rich Carley and Scott Shor weren't already known as the creators of craft bottle mecca The Beer Exchange, planners of Brewvivial 2014 and co-owners of upcoming brewpub Edmund's Oast, then they could now be recognized as "those guys on the bottle of Bozo Beer." Yes, Charleston's beloved leaders of all things hoppy and malty were given a trippy contemporary look and plastered onto the new brew from Brooklyn-based Evil Twin.

Carley and Shor are pals with the brewmaster Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø and said they genially call one another "bozo," thus the name of the new creation. Carley stated that the two were inspiration for the "silly stout" described with unconventional flavors like marshmallow, chili and chestnuts. No word yet if supplies of the just released (last week) bottles will last until the opening of Edmund's Oast, but at 17.2% ABV, it sure is a fun way to pass the time while you wait.
