Mystery of The Green Door Shall be Solved

Photo: Facebook

In one of 2013's most publicized (and tumultuous) closings, The Green Door was slammed shut on October 21. It later won 2013's "Saddest Closing" and deservedly so. Reporting in late November, Eater hinted at a possible pop-up event next Thursday, December 19, and then all went quiet.

That dinner is now officially happening at GrowFood Carolina (grab $30 tickets to the so-called "Revival Tour" here), and all-you-can-stomach amenities aside, owner of the former kimchi eatery, Cory Burke, and company are promising to reveal "the most up to date details on where, when and what the new restaurant is all about." With no further hints, it's going to take an actual attendance to get the scoop or a little patience and the right Twitter list.
