Get Hopped Up with the Haro Daisy at XBB

Eater has one last GIFtender to finish out Cocktail Week 2013. Co-owner and bartender from Xiao Bao Biscuit, Joey Ryan, mixes up a "Haro Daisy." This beverage isn't on the regular cocktail list, but if he has the ingredients, ask him to make you one.

This libation is named for pal Anthony Haro's father. Haro worked on the interior elements of XBB. His dad likes to drink Margaritas—Ryan wanted to mix up a similar libation but with "more interesting" elements complementing the food at the eatery. Ryan used chanh mu?i (Vietnamese salted, pickled lime), a tequila infused with Simcoe hops and fresh guava juice. Ryan stated this beverage "fits the flavor profiles of the restaurant." While XBB may get accolades for their spicy takes on Asian comfort food, the cocktails are just as delicious.
