EVENTWIRE—Most people wonder what they might wear to the highly-anticipated American College of the Building Arts Red Party, but the food served at the party should get top billing as well. This year, the fête will feature food from restaurants around the Lowcountry, such as Bowens Island, HoM, Butcher & Bee, Fuel and Básico. Since the event on Friday, October 25 is Gatsby-themed, there will be a Prohibition era cocktail contest, featuring local mixologists. General admission tickets are $70 in advance ($90 at the door), and VIP tickets are $150; purchase tickets online. [EaterWire]

DANCING IN THE STREETS—Newly renovated bar Prohibition hosts weekly swing lessons for those looking to learn some new steps in between cocktail sips. The instructor will be at the speakeasy from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. this evening. The class is free. [Facebook]
