One Step Closer to Beer on Tap Tables

New, 1 comment
Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

The excitement for self-serve craft beer built over the weekend, as upcoming Bay Street Biergarten posted a photo of general manager Sean Dulle serving a cold one from the 60 line draft system. In addition to all the pours behind the bar, co-owner Laura Patrick explained in an earlier interview, the restaurant will utilize "tap tables for unaided consumer imbibing."

Also evident from the Instagram: there will be lots of football at the new Bavarian-inspired pub. The space is big, so entire groups of pigskin fans will be able to show up for a beer and snacks. Eater spoke with Dulle several weeks ago, and he reiterated that large parties will be welcome at the establishment, as he stated, "our sense of community [will be] a highlight." He also hinted that fans should keep an eye on their Facebook page for opening details.
