Today's GIFtender (get it, GIF + bartender) is Mariah Sweezey from long-standing Hank's Seafood Restaurant. As part of our Cocktail Week animated series, Eater asked her to mix up a favorite beverage from the bar menu.
Sweezey chose the "Southern Gentleman," a mixture of Gentleman Jack, Southern Comfort, a wedge of lemon, a splash of orange juice, some muddled mint and a squeeze of simple syrup. "It's a derivation of a mint julep," she told us. She enjoys recommending this cocktail as a little bit of "Southern fun" for her guests. Other light libations patrons could order with Hank's famous seafood towers include a cucumber mojito or a Thai chili Margarita.
