Halls to Take Over La Fourchette Space?

According to multiple sources, downtown USDA Prime purveyor Halls Chophouse has purchased the space currently held by French bistro La Fourchette. The steakhouse is located next door to the space, and they are supposedly looking to expand.

While this piece of gossip was repeated by former employees of the bistro and King Street workers, neither side has confirmed. Eater was told, La Fourchette's owner was happy about the transaction. Former cook Kyle Yarbourough is now at Egan & Sons, so fingers are crossed in hopes the famous frites live on.
