Taste of Charleston; Brioches Delivered

FOOD FESTS Tickets are on sale for Southern Living's Taste of Charleston events, which are slated for September 28th - 30th. There's an Iron Chef-style cook-off pitting Lana's John Ondo and Graze's Michael Karkut against Poogan Porch's Daniel Doyle and Eric Huff, who will run the kitchen at Burwell's Stone Fire Grill downtown. There will also be dinners around town and the main tasting event at Boone Hall. Tickets for all the events are on sale at the Charleston Restaurant Association's site.

BOOK TOURS Sean Brock is hosting a guest dinner at McCrady's with Magnus Nilsson, the chef behind the highly-ranked Swedish restaurant Fäviken and the new cookbook with the same name. Tickets for the October 15th event are available at McCrady's website and cost $250 per person. [Eater National]
