Please Don't Forget to Tip Your Eater

Now that fall is officially here and the weather is cooling off, we figured it was time for a little thank you to the tipsters. You are our lifeblood. You keep us afloat with all of your intel, rumormongering, rants, photos, and gossip spilling. Thank you. For all you newcomers, a quick reminder on how you can get involved in all the fun:

Did you spot a new banh mi joint being built on your block? Have an idea where the next Sean Brock restaurant or Maverick Southern Kitchens spot might be? Noticed they changed the sauce at Home Team BBQ or a new food truck on the road? Or maybe you just need to vent with the Eater Complaint Dept. All this and more is very welcome to the tipline; just drop a note to charleston@eater.com. Photos—from plywood to shutter signage—are especially encouraged. Anonymity guaranteed, of course.
